About the Position: Serve as the Risk Mitigation Specialist for the Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response (CHMR), Civilian Protection Center of Excellence (CP CoE).
Relocation, Recruitment, Advanced in hire and Advanced Leave Accrual incentives may be authorized in accordance with agency policy.
Duties
Serve as the deployable exercise/operational/contingency advisor within CP CoE
Supports CP CoE efforts to archive and report lessons learned and recommendations into current joint targeting processes.
Advise leadership on Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response (CHMR) related activities associated with dynamic and deliberate targeting process at the operational and strategic level.
Conduct reviews of current cognitive bias mitigation training, techniques, and procedures in intelligence operations
Develop, coordinate, and integrate exercise-specific intelligence CHMR objectives.
Identify requirements and coordinates resources for achieving exercise objectives
Build innovation to the development of CHMR activities.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of harm mitigation program; developing new harm mitigation methods and procedures; developing and integrating exercise-specific intelligence mitigation objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
