Duties
This position is located in the Training Management Operations Directorate (TMO), and located at Glynco, Georgia. This position serves as a Program Analyst responsible for providing substantial administrative and analytical support to the TMO Assistant Director (AD), the Deputy Assistant Director (DAD), and the Senior Policy and Project Analyst (SPPA). The position conducts research and analysis, evaluates data, performs special and recurring assignments, and provides administrative support to the TMO AD, DAD, Site Director (SD), and SPPA. This position is sufficiently familiar with the TMO AD’s position and the Directorate's work in order to maintain an effective working relationship with internal and external parties; and is the primary administrative assistant to the TMO AD. The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level performing duties such as: 1) coordinating and scheduling the supervisors appointments and conferences without prior clearance; 2) composing and screening a variety of correspondence; 3) serving as liaison between the supervisor and various offices, bureaus, agencies, and organization officials; 4) obtaining office supplies and services; 5) maintaining resources and records; 6) developing a system for control and access to office records and files; 7) tracking data and monitoring action items to ensure ability to meet imposed suspense dates; 8) coordinating responses from subordinate offices; and 9) maintaining suspense files for recurring requirements to ensure timely action and response.
The first assessment will consist of skilled-based questions designed to evaluate the degree to which you possess the skills needed to perform the duties of the positions being filled. These questions are scored, and you must score at least 85 out of 100 points in order to be invited to participate in the second assessment.
The second assessment is the Performance Assessment Network System (PANS) which is a predictive assessment that measures your cognitive ability and soft skills. This assessment may take more than an hour and a half to complete; portions are timed; and may include videos. If you feel you have a disability that warrants additional time, please follow the instructions to request a reasonable accommodation (RA) prior to beginning the external assessment. Once you start the assessment you will no longer be able to make such a request.
