The Program Analyst position is located in the Department of Program Services (DPS), Judiciary Data and Analysis Office (JDAO), Production and Analysis Division, Data Quality and Production Branch. The JDAO is responsible for developing an overall strategy for judiciary data, ensuring compliance with data governance across all judiciary data, and providing analysis and reporting to meet statutory requirements.
Duties
This position will report to the Branch Chief, Data Quality and Production Branch, Data Production and Analysis Division, Judiciary Data and Analysis Office (JDAO). The JDAO is seeking a self-motivated Program Analyst to support management of the data process of several programs to include collection, data quality and reporting. The Data Production and Analysis Division is responsible for quality control, reporting, and analysis of judicial caseload data; and providing data analyses to judges, Judicial Conference committees, court unit executives, and AO offices.
The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the management of various program areas including data receipt, data quality, data production, and data reporting.
Maintaining sufficient knowledge of data elements, data policies, business rules, systems, and reports to address court-related reporting requirements and error messages generated from the application program.
Assisting with quarter-close activities for program areas.
Responding to data request inquiries.
Assisting with updating and maintaining written documentation; and verifying and proofreading of published reports and tables.
Serving as backup to the information helpdesk support and responding to inquiries from the court community, AO offices, Judiciary entities, government entities, and the general public.
Creating ad-hoc queries as well as providing standard/routine reports, tables, and extracts.
Providing accurate entry of data in support of the Wiretap Program to ensure the annual report is developed timely.
Providing support with managing programs from the Court community that are generated in JDAO managed systems.
Qualifications
Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience supporting the management of the data processes including data receipt, data quality, data production, and data reporting; and creating ad-hoc queries, standard reports, tables, and extracts.
