This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Bolling AFB, Washington D.C. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. Duties
Manages the classified information life cycle, Continuity of Government planning and program as it relates to classified IT and systems, assesses and mitigates vulnerabilities, and provides acquisition, contracting, and engineering support.
Strategically aligns classified IT to meet the NSC's organizational strategy and direction, while supporting White House IT policy, ensuring legislative and regulatory compliance, identifying key risks, and implementing control measures.
Provides advice and counsel to the Senior Director of the WHSR on the architecture of classified IT and systems support, and on acquisition and budget matters related to the NSC's classified IT and systems.
The incumbent manages the planning, direction, execution, and evaluation of all NSC IT operations.
Coordinates the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future classified IT and systems across the organization.
Performs duties as Chief Information Officer of WHSSS.
Requirements

- This is a drug testing position, subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
- Top Secret/ SCI security clearance required.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in developing and directing the planning, development, coordination, management, and engineering of classified IT and systems.
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.
Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a Top Secret security clearance based upon a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) when specifically required and must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Education
There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-15 grade level.
