About the Position: This position is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington. Tacoma is a diverse city nestled between Seattle and the state capital of Olympia. Duties
Utilize a working knowledge of healthcare administration and business practices, implement strategies to maximize practice capacity for enrollment and workload in support of the organization performance plan.
Utilize data from established Military Health System (MHS) and Medical Command (MEDCOM) databases in order to monitor, trend, and analyze, objective and objective performance measures.
Review and make recommendations for all office purchases, temporary duty (TDY) requests, training, and other expenditures.
Ensure effective front-end business operations, including authorization, and insurance verification.
Monitor satisfaction scores and comments for opportunities to improve practice operations.
Manage the staffing of the practice based on established Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA).
Requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the Education and/or Experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes maintaining databases to extract information needed for reports regarding healthcare delivery. This work may have been performed in an operating health care facility or a higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
