Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Evaluate and recommend adoption of new or enhanced approaches to deliver comprehensive business application development and management plan that is fully coordinated with all contributing organizations as it relates to Housing's business strategy.
Perform testing and formulate approaches to optimize the functionality of business applications and data as they relate to business processes.
Lead projects and studies to conduct necessary research related to various information technology, and other operations issues including project roadmaps, current state analysis, future state proposals, and evaluation of technology solutions that meet business requirements.
Perform an assortment of analytical work involving management programs, systems, and operations to evaluate efficiencies, effectiveness, productivity, and compliance with rules, regulations, and policies.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-14, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Performing research and analysis to evaluate qualifications and operations of cooperative program management processes; AND
- Analyzing program data and information systems and making recommendations for improvement for IT products based on analytical findings.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
