You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS SUPPORT DEPT of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA.

Duties

You will serve as an Assistant Product Support Manager (APSM) for DoD or other government agencies. You will be responsible for a full range of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and their associated connectivity and dependencies. You will evaluate numerous logistics phases and Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to ensure proper support identification and readiness throughout the product life cycle. You will manage the process and productivity of Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) responsible for planning the initial and sustainment logistics needs of the acquisition project. You will establish goals, designate responsibilities, and interpret impact on overarching programs associated with life-cycle logistics.

  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing the development, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of major logistics management applications.
