Duties
This position is located in the Facilities Engineering Division, Sector St. Petersburg, Florida. The selectee primary responsibility is the management, documentation, and control of work orders, processing of procurement requests in the Financial Procurement Desktop (FPD), and operation of the vehicle dispatch and reservation program.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Applicant must be able to type 40 wpm.
- This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- This position requires a Background Investigation(BI).
Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 grade level in the Federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Specialized experience include: performed on a regular and recurring basis using automated information systems; should be familiar with and have experience using MAXIMO and the shore asset management system (SAMS). To initiate and monitor work orders; interacted with others, including visitors, employees, and all levels of management; created/completed using MS Word or a similar software.
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The Office of Personnel management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
