Duties

Is thorough and conscientious about attending to detail when determining eligibility or consideration and questions pertaining to actions in evaluations, selections, and promotions area from a wide variety of input. Identities a need: gathers, organizes, and maintains information; utilizing Army-wide Systems. Understands and interprets written material, including rules, regulations, instructions, reports, or table; applies what is learned from written material to specific situations. Holds self accountable for measurable high-quality and timely results. Determines objectives, and sets priorities. Complies with established regulatory and policy rules and established control systems.

Requirements

  • This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Applicant will be required to complete a one year probationary period required.
  • Applicant must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Using a number of computer software packages in the performance of assigned duties which may include, but are not limited to: Word processing, database management, and electronic mail.
