This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy Commissioner Financial Services and Operations, Wholesale Securities, Business Systems. As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for leading teams of systems and staff analysts and support personnel within Fiscal Service and the Federal Reserve System (FRS), including staff from both the Federal Reserve Information Technology and Federal Reserve Banks (FRBs).
Duties
As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst, you will:
Conduct studies and projects to improve policy, procedures, and controls in Treasury's debt financing program, ensures adherence to proper financing systems and standards, and determines the feasibility of proposed and mandated debt financing systems changes.
Develop and maintain documentation on debt financing systems including descriptions of key operational and system controls.
Review and evaluate external debt financing systems for potential Fiscal Service use.
Coordinate the introduction of new financing debt instruments or modifications to current applications and systems within Fiscal Service and FRS.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes AT LEAST TWO (2) of the THREE (3):
Participating as a project leader in the development or design of automated or computer systems. OR
Defining requirements and determining project deliverables. OR
Technical experience in AT LEAST TWO or more the following areas: system infrastructure, architecture, frameworks, batch processing and system interfaces.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
