You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialsit in the N4 Directorate of Logistics and Expeditionary Support of COMNAVEXPEDLOGSUPGRP.
Duties
You will be responsible for equipment, materiel readiness and facilities for NAVELSG units.
You will conduct reviews of the NAVELSG TOA to ensure currency of materiel, minimize the storage footprint and revise as necessary.
You will serve as the NAVELSG subject matter expert for all TOA discussion both internal and external to NAVELSG, extending up to the OPNAV level.
You will serve as Facilities Manager oversight, responsible for local and remote NAVELSG Facilities.
You will establish and maintain a good working climate to participate in achieving facility management goals and to promote efficient and economical work operations.
You will develop and assesses long-range contingency and operational plans and schedules for the provision of logistical support to all NAVELSG units located throughout the world.
You will coordinate with all levels of command to remain aware of changes in command policy and to initiate expeditious and effective actions for problems in critical areas.
You will plan work to be accomplished, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares work completion schedules.
You will direct, coordinate and oversee the work of contractor support as part of the TOA Support Program Contract. Acts as the Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR).
You will make decisions on work problems presented by subordinates.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience and broad knowledge of the Logistics Management and Integrated Logistics Systems planning.
Experience and knowledge of Navy Military Construction Program and Table of Allowance, and knowledge of Echelon IV level program equipment and facilities management information systems.
Experience coordinating planning for military construction including review, revision, and submission of various standard Shore Facilities Planning and Programming System documents.
Experience developing and overseeing project requirements.
Experience assisting contracting officers in negotiations of service and general construction contracts.
Experience developing policies and procedures.
Experience performing a full range of supervisory responsibilities for subordinate staff (military and civilian).
Experience communicating effectively orally (including briefings and presentations) and in writing.
Experience and knowledge of various computer software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
