The primary purpose of the work in the IT Asset Manager position is to manage, control, and protect the organization's IT assets throughout their life cycle, from acquisition through final disposition. In addition, the IT Asset Manager designs, develops, and implements the organization's asset management strategy.
This position provides services in a mission critical 24x7/365 days/year environment and in certain circumstances may require onsite support during non-business hours.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the NF-2210-12/13.
NF 12
Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the federal NF-11 level, demonstrating practical knowledge of IT asset management principles, practices, and tools for a major organization or institution.
NF 13
Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the federal NF-12 level, demonstrating practical knowledge of IT asset management principles, practices, and tools for a major organization or institution.

Demonstrate Expert knowledge of applying practical expertise in implementing effective asset management practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrated attention to detail.
Demonstrate knowledge of advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices.
Applies expertise to design, develop, and implement the organization's asset management strategy.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform and Leverage platform capabilities to enhance asset management processes.
Demonstrates expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) lifecycle processes.
Ability to apply knowledge to streamline asset workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Proficiency in understanding and aptitude in employing analytical and evaluative methodologies, protocols, and strategies to effectively manage fiscal and human resources, encompassing the capability to estimate cost of program and contractors.
Collaborative and leadership-ability to work in a team environment, delegate task and motivate team members.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex/controversial issues.
