About the Position: This position is located within Naval Hospital Jacksonville, BLDG 2004 PA&E office. Working hours are Monday-Friday 0730-1600 This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Analyzes and develops statistical data, charts, narrative reports, and briefings. Provides training to management, staff members assigned to the department. Analyzes data collected from audits. Conducts cost and workload comparison studies between various organizations. Formulates improvement recommendations. Attends monthly and annual conferences, including conference calls for the command. Conducts detailed, comparative analysis of files and tables. Conducts work measurement studies, methods and procedures involving issues of staffing and productivity.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires a SECRET National Agency Check w/ Inquiries (ANACI) background check.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination. A candidate selected to this position will be required to sign a statement consenting to annual seasonal influenza vaccination.
• Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
• This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4.
• This position may be eligible for Situational/Ad-HOC Telework.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Knowledge of analysis and medical data evaluation techniques including standard administrative practices and procedures.; 2) In-depth knowledge of budgetary and financial management principles and techniques and 3) Must be able to effectively communicate both by written and oral means.
