About the Position: You will serve as the S-4 Logistics Division Chief of a Recruiting Brigade (BDE) for the U.S. Army Recruiting
Command (USAREC).
Duties
Arrange for supplies and services including office equipment, space management, property management, building maintenance, and office equipment maintenance.
Act as logistics advisor to BDE command group.
Review submission of appropriate fund estimates and proposed operating program changes relative to logistic responsibility.
Assign work and determines priorities, establishes acceptable levels of performance, reviews and evaluates performance, provides on-the-job training and arranges for formal training.
Requirements
- Position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance level.
- You may be expected to travel up to 25% of the time for this position.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position based on experience your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience in the Federal Service at the GS-11 grade level which includes: 1) Providing logistics policy guidance to subordinates; AND 2) Overseeing the inventory and maintenance control of motor vehicles.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
