About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Strategy, Planning and Functional Integration Directorate (J5), in support of the Quadruple Aim Performance (QPP) process and is located in San Antonio, Texas.
Note:
Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Duties
Participate in the development of the annual Quadruple Aim Performance Planning Macro Analysis and initiatives scoping to identify potential Enterprise solutions.
Develop, modify, and provide input to project plans to include but not limited to the Change Management Plan, PM Plan, A3, and Authority to Proceed Brief.
Develop project resource requirements and manages and/or administers resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives and projects to achieve long/short-term goals set in performance plans and clinical support
programs.
Design and perform/supervise ad hoc studies of moderate complexity based on user requirements.
Define data and information requirements specific to the study and works closely with staff that organizes, maintains, and provides management and program data and information.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes developing project schedule/work plan requirements; implementing improvement processes to projects/initiatives; advising senior leadership on technical areas such as developing strategic initiatives/processes, and project management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing project schedule/work plan requirements; identifying improvement opportunities based provided resources such as performance management, published guidance and priorities; advising leadership in development of strategic initiatives and/or processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
