Position Title: Investigative Training Manager
This is not a Virtual JDA.
Series requested: 1801 and 1811.
SECRET/ Security Clearance.
Duties
The incumbent develops, manages, and implements training courses directly related to law enforcement investigative objectives. The incumbent serves as an agency representative to committees and working groups convened for the purpose of creating investigative training programs, and execution of those programs to support of employee career requirements.
Requirements
- Must be a current permanent Federal employee
- Must have supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment. DHS 250-2 Application Form under "required documents" section.
- Must NOT have any pending/outstanding disciplinary actions
- Must have achieved a minimum of "meet expectations/proficiency" on latest performance appraisal/evaluation
- Must be currently at the grade level of the detail. *No Temporary Promotion Opportunity*
- The program does not apply to members of the Military service or contractors.
Qualifications
Qualifications required:
Background in oversight of law enforcement training programs relating to criminal investigations, and intelligence. The incumbent has subject matter expertise on investigative training techniques, tactics, deployments, and development of course content for basic and advanced investigative training concepts, based threats and operational policies. The incumbent has experience planning, developing, and implementing curriculum for a law enforcement educational programs that are non-standardized and/or where special problems or needs exist. The incumbent has experience performing law enforcement investigations, operations, and inter agency coordination.
