About the Position: This position is with the US Army Installation Management Command, Directorate of Emergency Services located at Fort McCoy, Wisoncsin. Fort McCoy is located in west-central Wisconsin, midway between Chicago and Minneapolis, just off Interstates 90 & 94. Duties

Procure supplies and equipment to support Fire and Emergency Services. Utilize the Government Purchase Card (GPC) to procure supplies, equipment, and services. Maintain an automated supply system for accounting of supplies and equipment. Determine stock level of supplies and equipment. Prepare for the execution of an annual inventory schedule of accounts. Maintain the property book to reflect all items of property with components received, issued or otherwise disposed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing automated systems in ordering, tracking, preparing documents, and maintaining inventory; submitting purchase orders of supplies or equipment; reconciling incoming inventory with shipping receipt; assisting in issuance of supplies; utilizing company purchase card to procure equipment and/or supplies; and assisting in property book management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical)Manages and Organizes InformationReasoning (Clerical/Technical)Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
