You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the ALRE Department/FORD- CLASS LAUNCH & RECOVERY DIV/EMALS/AAG Systems & Logistics Branch of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
You will manage, monitor, evaluate and coordinate the execution of Integrated Logistics Support.
You will ensure that organizations plan and execute their respective portions of the ALS plan.
You will coordinate tasking from the various functional organizations required for the execution of ALS plans.
You will develop logistic evaluation criteria to measure contractor progress in meeting program objectives.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Shipboard experience with aircraft launch and recovery; 2) Coordinating action necessary to resolve logistics support problems involving maintenance, supply, and other supportability issues; 3) Leading resource management of funds, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to provide support for the logistics program; and 4) Utilizing broad knowledge of theories and principles of Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) program execution, API systems/equipment management/sustainment, and Acquisition Logistic Support (ALS) planning.
