About the Position: Serve as the Knowledge Manager and Data Analyst for the DoD Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response Civilian Protection Center of Excellence (CHMR CP CoE) in the Learning Division under HQDA, G-3/5/7. Relocation, Recruitment, Advanced in hire and Advanced Leave Accrual incentives may be authorized in accordance with agency policy.

Duties

Develop and implement a management program to assist the CP CoE in establishing a knowledge-centric culture. Develop strategies to stimulate knowledge exchange and builds incentive structures to enhance knowledge management (KM) and implement process improvement. Manage the virtual presence of the agency, including, existing/future content sites and SharePoint portals. Ensure content owners are provided with appropriate KM technologies to develop, maintain, and share their respective knowledge and processes. Determine how knowledge content will be structured, shared (collaboration), controlled, and made accessible to the institutional, operational and force generating communities. Ensure all KM initiatives and activities support and align with the command?s mission, goals, KM strategy, strategic communications approach, and satisfy the CP CoE community knowledge requirements.

GS-13 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes planning Knowledge Management (KM) life-cycle process; maintaining content for platforms, such as SharePoint and Public-facing websites; reviewing website content for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements; implementing policy and program guidance governing KM initiatives; conducting studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of KM. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information ManagementKnowledge ManagementPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
