About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.

Duties

Serving as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the SAMD services contract. Serving as the SAMD Army Contracting Command (ACC) liaison. Responding to taskers and RFI request from USASAC and/or other Army Security Assistance Enterprise stakeholders. Reviewing pricing and LOA data in coordination with all activities required for pricing of standard and nonstandard items, USG services and contractor furnished materiel/services (development of SOW/PD). Serves as the Industry liaison. Coordinating, arranging, and/or participating in ACC, Industry and other meetings as delegated by USASAC, SAMD leadership, or the ILSC. Managing correspondence; maintaining files; coordinating meetings and conferences.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
• Position requires Business Travel 25% of the time.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
