This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO-DAS Human Resources and CHCO. As a/an Enterprise Solutions/Application Architect, you will be working with experts from the business area, customer support, application development, data modeling, database administration, and infrastructure areas to develop software application products that meet the Enterprise Applications ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS business needs of Department of the Treasury employees.

Duties

As a/an Enterprise Solutions/Application Architect, you will: Plan and lead efforts to address issues in areas where precedents do not exist and develops new concepts, software designs, and products. Responsible for designing, developing (writing software code), and deploying software application prototypes. Work with resources from the business, customer support, application development, data modeling, database administration, and infrastructure areas to design and develop software application products that meet the ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS business needs of Department of the Treasury employees. Rapidly designs and builds software prototypes and develops production versions of software products using state-of-the-art development tools, specifically MuleSoft, SQL Server, Oracle , and other software technologies. Understand latest application architecture, technology, solutions, and industry trends.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience developing methodologies or frameworks for providing consistent and repeatable integration architecture; AND Experience introducing, assessing, and recommending new software technologies and technical standards that align with the organizational strategic plan for modernization, integration and automation of human capital, content management, or financial management solutions; AND Experience in architecting, designing, assessing, developing and recommending API based integration solutions using MuleSoft; AND Experience in developing integrations using cloud platform services such as AWS or Azure; AND Experience in discovery/analysis/data mapping of technical requirements for integrations. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.1. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
