About the Position: Serves as a Logisitics Management Specialist for US ARMY Material Command Logistics Data Analysis Center, located in Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Duties

Analyze requirements, capability, and sustainment documents/plans/strategies for availability, reliability, maintainability, and affordability, and for potential impacts to overall readiness and life cycle management. Serves as process SME in support of Equipment Redistribution, Equipment Divestiture, and LIN Allocation and Distribution. Functions as the organizational focal point for functional logistics systems, data, and business rules. SME in Strategic Readiness Division (SRD), Equipping Branch (EB) business area projects and processes that support the Army throughout all phases of the Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM) Provides system interface among the various functions withing the component/organization in the development of plans, policies, and procedures affecting the logistics operations of the component/organization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Requires occasional travel (TDY) approximately 15%.

Provides data analysis to support decision making. Serves as an SME for logistics processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
