You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NVRECRUITNGCMD.

Duties

You will lead, participate, and conduct financial surveys, reviews, assessments, and evaluations of financial management policies, processes, procedures and systems at the headquarters, field, and operating force levels. You will represent the organizations on financial accounting matters. You will review, analyze, and interpret various financial documents and reports. You will apply accounting, budgeting and manpower principles theories, concepts and practices to ensure that financial management, manpower and accounting systems produce accurate results and meet legal and regulatory requirements. You will research and investigate new or improved business and financial management practices to determine the impact on program operations

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting financial regulations to determine impact on operations; 2) Developing solutions to financial management issues; 3) Advising personnel on financial management policies, processes and procedures; and 4) Developing financial reports to submit to management.
