This position is located in the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Headquarters (HQ), Sales, Marketing, & Logistics Group, Marketing Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for all marketing program resources related to patron awareness, branding, consumer advocacy, social media, marketing and business analytics.

Duties

Researches, analyzes, and creates social media content on multiple platforms using varying social media management tools to assess how effectively they convey information and the Director's Vision of DeCA. Provides premier customer service, patron product satisfaction, and increases the availability of the benefit. Utilizes multiple social media platform management tools to convey information and publicize the organization's mission. Researches, writes, and edits materials on a variety of established subjects for use on social media. Read the entire announcement before starting the application process.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1101 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume (and/or transcript if necessary) must clearly show that you have the qualifications described below. You can use experience, education, or a combination of the two to qualify. Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level or equivalent to at least GS-11 under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military. Examples of specialized experience include: Overseeing all aspects of digital campaigns including e-mail marketing, social media, web, SEO/SEM e-mail and display advertising. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points. Ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud or similar software to create digital assets to include photos, videos, and animation for use in social media. Physical requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required.
