You will serve as a Program Manager in the Systems Engineering Branch of the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program Office of Strategic Systems Programs (PMOSSP), Conventional Prompt Strike (SPC) of CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.
Duties
You will lead strategic planning to determine goals, objectives, direction, and priorities of the CPS Program Office to meet mission critical requirements of the Navy.
You will plan, execute, and evaluate highly complex program work in the CPS Program Office to meet long-term strategic priorities.
You will direct the development of tests and advisories on new technologies, methods, approaches and guides for assigned organization, program or project.
You will make decisions and initiate actions that involve the interpretation of policy or the setting of precedents, sometimes significantly changing, interpreting, or developing important policies.
You will manage team activities, progress, and scheduling to ensure successful project performance.
You will coordinate and liaise with internal and external customers across a broad spectrum of government employees, military members, consultants, contractors, other government organizations, or private industry.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
Provides expertise and advice on planning across a broad range of engineering or scientific programs.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical advice, program management, and leadership in the planning, analysis, and evaluation of efforts related to assigned program milestones.
