About the Position: Serves as a senior Logistics Management Specialist within AMCOM responsible for the planning, acquisition, development and delivery of logistics products and services to sustain systems operational readiness of the aviation fleet. Provide product support throughout the sustainment phase of aviation Critical Safety Items (CSIs) and aircraft components requiring maintenance management and historical data reports.

Duties

Monitor and track technical data related to aviation Critical Safety Items (CSIs) throughout the complete product life cycle, from initial acquisition through system/component retirement and demilitarization Identify and coordinate details of logistics functions among AMCOM, and AMC subordinate activities. Develop and analyze critical data and information on fielded items that directly impact the operation, maintenance, performance, and safety of Army aircraft and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Develop functional specification, resource requirement, schedules and milestone plans to achieve operation and sustainment of these systems. Integrating state-of-the-art automated procedures into existing and planned automated systems.

Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience planning, developing and delivery of logistics products and services to sustain systems operational readiness of the aviation fleet; Developing and analyzing critical data and information on fielded items that directly impact the operation, maintenance, performance, and safety of Army aircraft and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS); Review, analyze, and evaluate logistics information systems supporting the life cycle management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above).
