You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the STAFF SUPPLY SECTION of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.

Duties

You will serve as Agency/Organization Program Coordinator (A/OPC) for the Headquarters' Government-Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) Program. You will be responsible for implementing GCPC Program Management Policy in accordance with NAVSUP 4200.99B and other related instructions for GCPC Program. You will provide technical and administrative guidance to cardholders, authorizing officials, alternate A/OPC, and lower-graded personnel within the assigned department. You will be responsible in providing logistics support to the command and other unit detachments from San Diego, CA, Bremerton, WA, Singapore, and other sites, as necessary. You will be responsible for certifying payment vouchers and documents for commercial vendor invoices. You will serve as Personal Property Manager (PPM) for COMPACFLT.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing supply principles, concepts, and methodologies in order to provide services or to resolve logistical or financial issues for a supply program, a Government-wide Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) Program, and a personal property management program. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
