About the Position: Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist and primary logistics planner in the Support Operation. Plans, develops, coordinates, and integrates logistical plans, programs, policies, and procedures for operational logistics support and sustainment within the Battalion.
Duties
Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist and staff officer in the Unit Readiness Section responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and integrating sustainable readiness within the Battalion.
Develops and implements battalion policy for operational projects in support of OPLANS.
Compiles data necessary to determine trends, prepares materiel readiness data for display, and provides guidance/assistance where corrective actions and improvements are required.
Analyzes and assesses reported information regarding status of supply, transportation, maintenance, personnel, fleet readiness, medical evacuation and hospitalization, operational projects, and materiel work orders.
Responsible for evaluating and coordinating a logistics program designed to further mutual confidence and understanding.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Position requires Temporary Duty business travel (TDY) approximately 20% of the time.
