This position is located in the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS), UNITED STATES COAST GUARD (USCG), DEPUTY COMMANDANT FOR MISSION SUPPORT, ASSISTANT COMMANDANT FOR ACQUISITION (CG-9), DIRECTOR OF ACQUISITION PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CG-93), PEO SURFACE DOMAIN (CG-932), Mobile, Alabama.
Duties
This position serves as the onsite Waterfront Supervisor for a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Project Resident Office (PRO). You will also provide on-site construction/progress oversight and program management in accordance with established procedures in support of surface ship design, construction programs and providing the proper management and technical control for successful completion of the assigned construction projects to meet technical performance requirements within budget and schedule constraints.
Requirements

- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- Level III certification in Production Quality Manufacturing required.
Qualifications
To be considered at the GS-14 level: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. For this position, specialized experience includes workload oversight, technical recommendations, technical and programmatic resolutions, and providing leadership and mentoring to his/her division.
