About the Position: This position performs outbound counseling and arranges for transportation of personal property. This position is being announced as a TERM NTE 13 Months. This position may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. It may become permanent without further competition. You are eligible for the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, the Federal Employees Group Life Insurance Program, and the Federal Employees Retirement System, Thrift Savings Plan and annual/sick leave.

Duties

Determines entitlements and counsel's military personnel on Personally Procured Moves (PPM) and normal household goods (HHG) shipment method. Arranges for the transportation of HHG (Household Goods). Performs outbound counseling and arranges for transportation of personal property.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) interpreting various travel regulations relating to personal property movement; AND 2) utilizing office automation software to monitor and/or prepare required travel documents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Selective Placement Factor Required: Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
