Duties
You will allocate information technology (IT) project resources (e.g., equipment, hardware, software) to meet IT requirements Identify customer information systems requirements to define a project scope.
You will define information technology (IT) client requirements for information systems and services based on analysis of business needs.
You will examine impact of information technology (IT) system changes to confirm smooth integration with an existing system.
You will use automated systems and tools to track and report information assurance (IA) compliance.
You will analyze operating systems malfunctions to implement corrective actions.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for the role of Technical Support Specialist; level intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Diagnosing and resolving IT (Information Technology) software applications and customer device issues to support academic and professional functions; 2) Interpreting IT standards and procedures to provide IT customer support; 3) Assigning profiles and permission as an IT system administrator to safeguard data; and 4) Planning and executing complex IT related assignments using conventional approaches and techniques independently and as a project team member. NOTE: Experience must be fully supported in your resume to be considered for this position.
