Duties
Performs and/or directs the following types of work: Monitors and inputs maintenance and supply transactions. Directly coordinates for the repair of ISM items. Performs maintenance, supply and transportation management related analyses. Performs analyses of logistic Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS'), Executive Management Information System (EMIS) and other automated systems computer outputs. Generates, develops and modifies special and recurring reports in order to manage the ISM program at the local area level and develops specific plans of action to resolve supply and maintenance inefficiencies at the general support level. Visits LSM area work sites to observe maintenance operations and assist sites in improving production. Makes decisions on disposition of overage maintenance jobs, ensures maintenance data from work sites is delivered in a timely manner, and selects repair candidates for the ISM Program. Reviews competitive bids for ISM work from states in area of responsibility and forwards selected bids to the Regional Support Maintenance Manager (RSSM) for regional competition. Represents local area states in the regional Production Planning and Control (PP&C) conferences, monitors the ISM program from a logistics perspective and resolves logistics problems as they arise between participating customer/service provider states and installations. Attends local, regional and national ISM related meetings and conferences as necessary; and prepares and presents operational briefings as required. Exercises supervision over subordinate employees. Implements provisions of personnel management such as the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program, merit promotion, career development, performance appraisals, counseling service, incentive awards and position management. Selects or contributes significantly to the selection of subordinates. Hears employee grievances and works with union representatives, as necessary. Plans for and schedules assignments for subordinates based on capabilities. Provides training designed to improve employee performance. Develops performance standards and evaluates subordinates accordingly. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

- APPOINTMENT FACTORS: Excepted/Warrant Officer/Enlisted in the Alaska Army National Guard.
- MILITARY GRADE REQUIREMENT: Due to the nature of this position, the minimum military grade is Staff Sergeant (SSG/E6) and the maximum military grade is Chief Warrant Officer (CW3/W3).

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE is experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is experience which is directly related to the position to be filled and which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position.
GS-11 - Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
