Duties
As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serve as the Patient Movement Automated Information System (PMAIS) Functional Program Manager, providing leadership, guidance and technical expertise in the management and operation of the PMAIS.
Serve as the global coordinator for identifying and developing future technologies relevant to the PMAIS, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Perform difficult analytical studies and projects to improve organizational practices,methods, procedures, and productivity of the PMAIS.
Develop and deliver reports and briefings to inform the status of functional and technical requirements of development and deployment of PMAIS.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
Developing goals and objectives for the management, funding and sustainment of an information system.
Knowledge of a wide range of management operations across DoD information systems, and/or DoD acquisition.
Coordinating and integrating project management activities with various organizational elements and functions to optimally support enhancements and sustainment of information systems.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
