This position is part of the WAPA-DSW-Desert Southwest. As a Public Utilities Specialist (Contracts & Energy Services), you will be performing developmental tasks that will lead to the full performance of developing, negotiating and administration of contracts.
**This is not a remote position. The selectee will be required to be physically present at the Phoenix, AZ duty location.**

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position must include at least 2 of the 4 of the following:
Experience in maintaining records, filing, conduct research, prepare documents, and gather data for preparing status reports for legal documents.
Experience in 1 of the following: editing, proof reading, or reviewing contractual agreements.
Experience in drafting, reading, and writing informational/explanatory, or narrative documents.
Detail oriented, legal knowledge, familiar with regulation and policies.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, or LLB or JD, if related.
OR
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
