Duties

Assists Operations Team Leader with coordinating and training of personnel assigned to facilities. Provides structure and guidance to all facilities operators on function and duties that will take place during their shift. Ensures adequate manning of facilities for events as well as routine operations. Job may require work in various facilities depending on requirements as determined by customer demand or programmed activities. Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued or sold, safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits. Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

Qualifications

Standard Qualifications: 1. Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above. 2. Must have and retain a valid driver's license. Highly Qualified: 1. Three (3) years of experience preparing, inspecting, and issuing equipment to customers ensuring it meets safety guidelines and is in proper working order. 2. One (1) year of experience moving large vehicles and/ or trailers for customer use and storage. 3. Possess two (2) with setting up and breaking down equipment for special events; to include but not limited to transporting large items (i.e., stages, tents, tables chairs, etc.)
