The primary purpose of this position is to: Serve as the Air Force (HAF) Intelligence Oversight (IO) Program Manager (PM) and focal point for the Air Force Intelligence Oversight program.

Duties
1. Serve as the DAF Intelligence Oversight Program Manager. Serves as the subject matter expert providing support to the DAF Senior Intelligence Oversight Official on all matters related to Intelligence Oversight.
2. Provide timely identification, reporting, coordination, and investigation of Intelligence Oversight related activities.
3. Ensure compliance inspection are being performed per regulatory guidance.
4. Build and maintain effective relationships across the Department of Defense Intelligence Oversight Enterprise.
5. Execute DAF administration of Intelligence Oversight program.

- An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is highly desirable.
Qualifications
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the 14 grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Mastery level of knowledge of Intelligence Oversight standards and practices as promulgated through National, Department of Defense and US Air Force directives and guidelines. Demonstrated knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Broad knowledge of Executive Order 12333, Intelligence Community, DoD and Air Force instructions, regulations, and policies, regarding intelligence or intelligence-related activities.
2. Knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in the Air Force inspection program, and skill in applying this knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments; and a practical knowledge of planning and conducting inspections and skill in applying this knowledge to the development of new methods, approaches, or procedures.
3. Knowledge of Air Force and DoD intelligence component mission, organizations and functions, major issues, as well as applicable Federal laws, DoD, National Security Agency (NSA), and Air Force regulations and mandatory guidelines to evaluate compliance issues.
4. Skill in project planning, project management and time management to effectively execute the technical goals and requirements of teams and projects; and ability to analyze incoming reports, establish pertinent facts, and submit reports to DoD, ODNI, HPSCI (United States Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence) and SSCI (United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence).
5. Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, and procedures and make recommendations to senior leadership.
6. Ability to work and complete all tasks with minimal oversight; and ability to communicate well both orally and in writing.
OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS PERTAINING TO THIS POSITION:
Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
