About the Position: Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary work team engaged in planning and/or execution of logistics projects or studies. Incumbent must analyze independently and resolve issues and problems covering the total spectrum of installation logistics functions, which affect subordinate organizations.
Duties
Analyzes logistics performance of subordinate organizational elements, identifies systemic organizational logistics problems, performs formal staff studies (with substantive supporting documentation), and develops recommendations
Prepares briefings and reports for decision and resourcing by higher level management
Represents the Command during the execution of external reviews, analyzes deficiency trends, develops integrated, and corrective action plans
Contributes to the development of new policies to enable the Command to operate in a sound business fashion, in accordance with public law and regulatory requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years of progressively responsible general work experience with one (1) year of that experience equivalent to the NH-01 or GS-04 grade level, which includes working with logistics functions Army logistics information systems, programs, and systems to compile, analyze and interpret logistics readiness information and develop trend lines;
OR
Successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as business administration, accounting, or acquisition and contract administration. OR
The specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and at least one year of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required two years. Computed the percentage of the requirements that you meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.). (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
