This position is to be utilized, as approved, specifically for a FEMA headquarters organization involved in providing operational and/or program development support to an assigned Incident Management cadre. This employee serves as Cadre Management Training Specialist for an assigned cadre and is responsible for facilitating the development, revision, and delivery of the FEMA Qualification System (FQS) training for each cadre Position Task Book (PTB) as well as program required trainings.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the IC-13 level (starting salary $112,015), you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:  Using adult education practices, techniques, or methodologies to develop or deliver training materials. Advising on the development or delivery of training materials. Reviewing or evaluating the effectiveness of adult training materials. Supervising or administering a training program. Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
