This position is located in the Federal Highway Administration, Office of the Associate Administrator for Administration, Office of Information Technology and Data Services. The Division Chief for IT Business Operations will be responsible for planning, developing, leading, and directing nationwide IT programs for Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The incumbent represents FHWA on interactions with the Department, regulatory agencies, and State agencies on IT matters.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience providing direction to subordinate managers, supervisors and/or professional staff in the development, acquisition, management and/or oversight of Information Technology or Information Management programs.
Experience providing oversight and direction for multimillion dollar, multi-year IT support service contracts.
Experience participating in the development and/or approval requirements and policies for Information Technology solutions in an organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
