Duties
As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will:
Provide technical advice to all Housing field managers and employees to ensure that organizational infrastructures, policies, processes, and procedures are most effective.
Conduct analytical studies, such as analyses of the impact of anticipated and actual changes in field staffing patterns on immediate and long-range planning.
Evaluate processes and performance of single family and multifamily field offices and monitors and evaluates their implementation of management plan.
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the activities of the Division staff necessary to develop Housing objectives, policy, and procedures and to carry out the operations of the functions assigned.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for the GS-15 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position, and which has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
- Develop processes, policies and strategic planning for management systems and programs; AND
- Managing and conducting management studies and reviews, and providing leadership of an administrative staff of analysts who are involved in conducting in-depth evaluations which include the analysis of management programs and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations; AND
- Planning work to be accomplished by a staff of employees (i.e., establishing goals, priorities, or schedules for work completion); AND
- Direct the development of policies in at least two of these areas: Talent Development, Human Capital Management, Training and Development, Directives Management, or the Paper Reduction Act.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
