This position is in the Office of Administrative Services, Management and Program Analysis Division.

Duties
At the entry level of this position, you will:
Support higher-level analysts in planning and performing management and productivity improvement studies and projects.
Gather programmatic data to assist in developing recurring or special reports, preparing executive briefings and similar materials for use by management and higher-grade analysts in carrying out and reporting on program accomplishments.
Assist with interoffice communication, the development and maintenance of SharePoint and other intranet sites, entering and maintaining metadata, and managing permissions.
Support higher-level analysts in analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of administrative and human capital programs.
When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses. NOTE: Career ladder promotions are not automatic, and all eligibility and qualifications requirements must be met in order to progress to the next grade level.
Requirements

Qualifications
You must meet all the requirements below by the closing date of the announcement and they must be clearly identified in your application, resume, or supporting documents. These are used to determine if you possess the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities to successfully perform in this position.
Eligibility for employment for the Pathways Recent Graduate Program requires, within the previous two years, (please see special consideration and exceptions to this requirement below), completion of a qualifying associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution. Your post-secondary education or curricula must be accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the Secretary of the Department of Education to qualify.
Special Consideration for preference eligible veterans who were precluded from applying due to their military service obligation. You begin your 2-year eligibility period upon release or discharge from active duty. Eligibility period in this case cannot exceed six (6) years from the date on which you completed your education.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
GS-7: To be eligible at the GS-7 level, you must meet at least ONE of the following conditions, as defined below: specialized experience, education, OR a combination of education and experience.
Specialized Experience: You need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-05 level defined as assisting in monitoring projects; preparing and/or analyzing reports.
OR
Education: One year of graduate education in an accredited college or university. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be 18 semester hours.
OR
Superior Academic Achievement as follows: To be eligible for SAA, you must have a Bachelor's degree and one of the following. 1. A standing in the upper third of your college class or major subdivision at the time you apply. 2. A grade point average of "B" (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent for all courses completed; (a) at the time of application; or (b) during the last two years of undergraduate curriculum. 3. A "B+" (3.5 on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent for all courses completed in a qualifying major field of study, either; (a) at the time of application; or (b) during the last 2 years of your undergraduate curriculum. 4. Election to membership in one of the national honorary societies (other than freshman societies). Education at the undergraduate level must be in an accredited college or university and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
GS-9: To be eligible at the GS-9 level, you must meet at least ONE of the following conditions, as defined below: specialized experience, education, OR a combination of education and experience.
Specialized Experience: You need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-07 level defined as analyzing information to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations; applying analytical approaches, methods, concepts, and/or techniques to assist in program planning.
Education: Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D.
Combination of Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
