You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Systems Engineering Department, Air Platform Systems Engineering Division, Air Platform Stores Integration Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This position is for an APMSE/Lead Systems Engineer for assigned projects related to weapon/stores integration for domestic F-35 A/B/C aircraft. As a senior APMSE, the incumbent is responsible for providing risk assessments to IPT Leaders, Program Managers and Technical Domain Managers.
Duties
You develop requirements and store integration plans to ensure total weapon system performance.
You will review and prepare project directives, contract deliverables, detail specifications, test and evaluation master plans (TEMPs) to obtain an overall background and to identify possible integration problem areas.
You serve as Navy, IPT and store integration department representative during participation at conferences, design reviews, program meetings, mockup reviews, seminars and symposia.
You provide technical inputs and prepares appropriate correspondence and reports such as trip reports, meeting action items, etc.
You will develop project planning objectives for engineering development of current and long-range programs.
You will perform or direct technical analyses required during the development phases.
You will ensure all technical and engineering requirements of the program are met including quality assurance reliability, maintainability, system compatibility, safety engineering, etc.
You will act as an engineering planning and management representative for assigned systems at program reviews, contact reviews, briefings, budget hearings etc.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/14) grade level or pay band (DP-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following.
