This position is located in the Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Office of Administration, Human Resources Division, Personnel Security Branch. The incumbent has responsibility for managing personnel security, information security, communications security, and physical security for OJP.

Qualifications
Grade 15:Qualifying experience for the GS-15 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-14 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: managing, implementing and troubleshooting physical security systems to include physical access and credentialing systems, closed circuit camera systems, intrusion detection systems, perimeter access and security screening; managing a federal identify and credentialing program; managing a federal personnel security program for suitability and national security; designing, analyzing, evaluating strategies, and making recommendations on major security issues; providing direction and support for contract administration for acquisition of state-of-the-art security systems and tools.Technical Qualifications:>Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications as described above will be further evaluated based upon the following technical qualifications:- Ability to supervise.- Ability to conduct investigations, analyze facts, and prepare reports.- Knowledge of a wide range of physical security concepts, principles and practices, and a variety of physical security hardware and systems.- Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and techniques of security administration.- Ability to apply automated technology to security administration.-Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.- Ability to communicate in writing.Additional information on the qualification requirements is outlined in the OPM Qualification Standards Handbook of General Schedule Positions and is available at OPM's website: https://www.opm.gov/qualifications/standards/indexes/num-ndx.aspAll qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
