About the Position: Located at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri within the Contract Support Office of Resource Management during the duty hours of Monday-Friday 0700-1530. The incumbent will be required to research, develop, and submit acquisition packages of various nature through multiple contracting authorities within the federal government.This is not a telework or remote position.
Duties
Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative to provide overall contractor performance evaluation in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract in support of the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
Assist the Contracting Officer during the contract solicitation period by assembling and submitting the required contract Performance Work Statements.
Ensure evaluation methods provide systematic and equitable review, appropriate to the service; includes methods for determining acceptability/non-acceptability of performance.
Prepare a variety of recurring and non-recurring narrative and statistical reports on program segments.

- Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position may require overtime to meet mission requirements.
Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing medical contract documents for submission to contracting authority for approval; monitoring contractor performance for compliance; verifying contract expenditures remain within parameters set by the contract. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics, Acquisition or Contract Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
