Duties
This position is located under the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives; Office of Public and Governmental Affairs Office of Digital Media in Washington, District of Columbia.
The mission of the Office of Public and Governmental Affairs (PGA) is to execute communications strategies to: (1) Enhance the public's understanding of ATF's diverse mission; (2) Enable the public to more effectively interact and conduct business with ATF, and (3) Inform Congress, the media, customers and stakeholders of key ATF programs and activities.
The Digital Media Division (DMD) supports ATF's mission by leading customer-centered, science-based, and high-impact communications. DMD provides leadership and expertise to coordinate the agency's communication and marketing activities, as well as response to urgent issues, and ensures consistent and clear communication of key ATF messages - both internally and externally
Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience:
Specialized Experience-GS-13: Applicant must demonstrate one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
Coordinating work plans for a printing and distribution program that meets client needs;
Working on printing projects (i.e. manuscripts, camera copy, graphics, photos, disks, tapes) to meet organizational initiatives and guidelines; AND
Estimating the resources associated with the preparation and production of printing projects;
