This position is located in the Human Resources Enterprise Training Division (ETD), Office of Human Resources. This role is the ideal next career step for you if:

Qualifications

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. OPM Qualifications Standards are available at Administrative and Management Positions. Specialized Experienceis experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-13. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience serving as a team lead or manager in an agency-wide training division to include providing interpretative guidance to lower graded specialists, managers, supervisors, and executives; Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating enterprise-wide training and employee development programs to achieve goals and objectives (e.g. identifying training needs, designing program components, researching/recommending potential providers, managing program logistics, applying adult learning principles and incorporating a variety of technologies and techniques); Experience managing the process for procuring training and development program vendors, (e.g. developing statements of work, coordinating with a resource management or procurement office to ensure training proposals meet the needs of the agency, and ensuring procurement processes comply with Federal regulations or company policies, working with vendors and/or task order managers to ensure proper delivery of services); and/or Experience interpreting and developing policies for accomplishment of human resources development activities/programs for an agency. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

Education may not be substituted at the GS-14 grade level.
