Duties
Provides advice, assistance, evaluation, information and recommendations on management and administrative technical issues, projects, policies, studies and initiatives in support of enterprise missions.
Develops senior level briefing decks and manages a variety of personnel reports.
Plans, develops and conducts comprehensive organizational studies, projects, reviews and analysis of major program areas, substantive operational issues or problems.
Establishes project schedules, follows up to determine status of various activities; reviews completed actions for adequacy, thoroughness and accomplishment of purpose, and develops findings, proposals, and recommendations.
Coordinates administrative matters that cross organizational lines, and ensures an open communication between organizations while addressing a number of issues for which the incumbent has specific administrative oversight.
Initiates action to meet internal and external suspense actions; tracks progress of such actions; and ensures full coordination of replies and organization positions.
Reviews correspondence and other materials prepared for the information and signature.
Requirements

- Time after Competitive Appointment: Candidates must have served 3 months after latest competitive appointment in the Federal service.
- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Time-in-Grade Requirement: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in Federal Service.
Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience managing projects and leading project teams; implementing corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of a project(s) and intermediate products in support of the project; developing and presenting executive level briefings, and reports; developing new processes and procedures affecting multiple organizations; compose correspondence or other written material that is sensitive, for executive-level staff and high-level external officials.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
