Duties
Serves as the principal clerical and administrative support assistant to the Director, Deputy Director of the Systems Integration and Maintenance Office (SIMO).
Provide assistance to employees in obtaining personnel and payroll information, disseminates information, and resolves problems/issues as needed.
Works in accordance with established priorities and resolves complaints based on a variety of established alternatives.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain a government driver's license.
- The incumbent will be TDY at least 10% of the time.
- Qualified typist is required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes administrative support and advice on the organization; methods, and procedures involved in a broad range of administrative/technical work related to office automation processes/databases, travel, civilian/military human resource management, training, records management, correspondence and scheduling support which are required to accomplish the work of Systems Integration and Management Office (SIMO) and the organization. Experience reviewing outgoing correspondence and material prepared for the Director/Deputy Director's signature or approval for editorial and procedural accuracy and for conformance to policy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
