You will serve as a Public Affairs Specialist for NLSC.
Duties
You will work independently on communications policymaking, planning, and training; creative product development; media relations; and metrics collection and assessment.
You will develop and execute an annual strategic communications plan promoting all facets of the JAG Corps.
You will use graphic design expertise to create visually appealing, engaging products that appeal to a variety of JAG Corps stakeholders, such as brochures,
booklets, flyers, event programs, and advertisements.
You will manage the organizations public-facing website, reviewing and updating content regularly.
You will strategically increase the JAG Corps digital footprint, expanding to new platforms to reach new audiences.
You will develop productive working relationships with external media representatives and respond to their inquiries
You will develop and update a monthly metrics dashboard and outreach assessment report that measures the efficacy of both internal and external strategic communication activities.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrate the following: 1) Supporting long-range, strategic communication planning and policy-making, and developing and executing training curricula focused on public affairs best practices;2) Producing creative, compelling communication and marketing products for dissemination across multi-media platforms;3) Developing strong working relationships with media, and responding to routine inquiries; and 4) Collecting, assessing, and presenting communication metrics to inform outreach strategies.
