You will serve as a Level II IPT Lead Program Manager for Growler System Integration in the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA265) under thePEO FOR TACT A/C.
Duties
You will balance program requirements or constraints against cost, schedule, or performance.
You will coordinate across industry and department of Defense activities (e.g., Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Chief of Naval Operations) to develop program acquisition strategy requirements.
You will control all resources for a program (e.g., funding, types of contracts, team priorities, schedules, integrated program team [IPT] tasking) required for successful execution.
You will discuss administrative and managerial issues to resolve and defend program or project objectives.
You will develop written materials (e.g., briefs, papers, memoranda) on a program's movement through the acquisition life cycle (e.g., decision review, acquisition gate, milestone briefs, supporting documentation).
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A-Program Management (PM) Level 4-Advanced. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must be a member of the Acquisition Corps, become a member, or obtain a waiver at the time of selection and sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1) Analyze needs and synthesize requirement information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning. 2) Identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program. 3) Serve as the central contact point within the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program. 4) Manage requirements/ design tradeoffs and overall risk.
